Scriptural Precedent for Judging Right(eously)
‘Why?’, you ask. Because the spread of food served up in the existing diet we’ve been consuming is grossly lacking in the Judgment ingredient. Well, I have some Great News! In this article, we will be putting the Judgment-Shaker back on the table... and adding it to any new dish served up to the Sheep who hear only the Voice of their True Shepherd. Think with me here… Would you or I even attempt to eat a full-course meal that contained no seasoning? Not on my table!! Yet the bland, boring, cliche-laden sayings of our (previous) church-ianity experience have often done this very thing… provided a tasteless distinction between good and evil, light and darkness, holy and profane, sin and righteousness.
Needless to say, the very title of this post is already infuriating any who would “hold (down) the Truth in unrighteousness”. And so be it! Far too long have the saints of the Most High been left without an accurate assessment of this extremely vital seasoning known as “Judgment”. We have done ourselves no great service to overlook something so basic, so fundamental, and so foundational to our experience in the Truth as to skewer our concept of the righteous Judgment of the Lord.
I aim to clarify (3) Big Points of Biblical, New Covenant Judgment that are usually missing, maligned, or mis-applied in the lives of the church-going masses. Due to the gross negligence and lack of Spirit-eyed understanding as to what Judgment really is...who may pass it...how it is served… in what way...and under what circumstances it is to be offered- the Eternal Counsel of God’s Word that “will never pass away” will be our guide and the Holy Spirit of Truth, our Counselor. So without further delay… Let’s eat!

As we begin, allow me to refresh our minds with some verses that you may have known, but not previously connected to the arena of Godly Judgment. Then I will expound a bit more as we get into the “stronger meat”. For now, let’s chew on this for a bit...
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth… And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.” John 1:14, 16
“For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.” Romans 11:21-22

Here’s Big Point #1:
The foundation of Judging Righteously is a true comprehension that: JUDGMENT IS A PART OF THE FULLNESS OF GOD’S LIVING WORD -CHRIST OUR LORD- AND HIS RIGHT JUDGMENT CONTAINS BOTH GRACE AND TRUTH… GOODNESS AND SEVERITY. Now, that may sound too elementary, but in reality… those who assay to hide themselves from God’s Judgment (and then accuse those who DO love His Grace and Truth as “not L-o-v-ing me”) are apparently “unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness”, as they “continue to feed on milk”... Babes, goo-goo gaa-gaa. Hebrews advises us that “full-grown men” have had some real-world practice in being able to “distinguish and discriminate between” good and evil. How do they
achieve this? By knowing the WORD OF GOD that “is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and ABLE TO JUDGE the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.” (Hebrews 4:12-13)
God’s Judgment (and then accuse those who DO love His Grace and Truth as “not L-o-vi-ng me”) are apparently “unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness” as they “continue to feed on milk”... Babes, goo-goo gaa-gaa.

I mean, let’s line up your funky “Grace” message alongside the “must-see TV” of TRUTH… Hmm, my steak-loving spiritual senses tell me, Nope!, simply not right (by His Word-Standard, not mine) in this unrepentant respect, that evil activity, this hidden (not really) and unconfessed sin, or the ongoing “cloak of deception” being cast over many milk-slurping saints- who Scripture states by this time should actually be teaching you, Mr./Mrs. ‘Love Me Anyway...Don’t “Judge” my Ungodly Lifestyle’.” (see Hebrews 5:11-14)

Love you? Yes! Enough to tell you quite boldly: “Grow Up into ALL things into THE HEAD, JESUS CHRIST. Quit perverting the Right Way of the Lord. Shun your pedestal-placing idolatry! RE-PENT! God’s Kingdom (you know, the Real One) IS HERE AND NOW!” Too much “Love” for you? Not if you actually love the Truth more than man’s fleshly excuses!
Those “obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the DOCTRINE OF (HIS) RIGHTEOUSNESS” will usually regurgitate such clear-cut distinction and call it “hate-mongering” or “unloving” (Where’s the bottle? Can you grab me a diaper, too? Got Milk?) Next verses, from a passage defining why we have Christ’s ministry given to His Body:
“That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--” Ephesians 4:14-15

Can’t say it any better than that! For the Body of Christ to fully “grow up in all things into the Head- Christ” we MUST be no longer children who get bounced around in a man’s twisted power-trip and cunning adulteration of Scripture. AND WE MUST TRULY LOVE ONE ANOTHER ENOUGH to SPEAK TRUTH that accompanies HIS FULLNESS OF GRACE!
A word about His Grace... It is NOT A LICENSE to continue grossly missing God’s Target (Christ IN YOU), while making excuses for your “humanity”. God’s Grace, rather, shouts to your mountain, ‘RECKON YOURSELF DEAD TO SIN, ALIVE ONLY TO GOD! YOUR “OLD MAN” is CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST! LIVE YOUR LIFE AS MEN/WOMEN, BUT NOT UNTO THE LUSTS OF MEN, but UNTO THE WILL OF ALMIGHTY GOD! You have LIBERTY

JUDGMENT 201: “Send in ‘da Judge(s)!”
Christ is known as “The Righteous Judge” and the Word states that God “has appointed ALL judgment unto the Son”. Here’s some “red-letters” we cannot miss if we are to truly partake of Righteous Judgment (and mete it out accordingly- more to come on this… keep reading).
“For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father… He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life... For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man... For the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:21-30

Hard to misunderstand the voice of Jesus Christ… pretty sure He wasn’t mincing His Words here (as if that were possible!) Jesus Christ has LIFE in HIMSELF and has been GIVEN SOLE, UNENDING, UNOBSTRUCTED AUTHORITY “TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT”. And “HIS JUDGMENT IS RIGHTEOUS”! Always, in every way, at all times, world without end! Why is this so critical to know and understand? So glad you asked!
Big Point #2:
If The Head has been given all “authority to execute judgment” and… WE (His Body and Bride) ARE JOINED IN UNION WITH HIM- it is both fitting, proper, and verily expected for us who call Him Lord and Master, to ALSO join Him in this Righteous Endeavor (Judgment)!

This (rather than a gloomy, dark, heavy-handed task) is to be a happy thing! And one exhibited with the Heart and Nature of OUR KING AND LORD! Ok… I feel you backing up. Some more Biblical basis:
"But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel
(Read the full context below from John 7 & 8, where Jesus was refuting those who did not have proper discernment of the very Word of God made flesh and walking plainly in their midst.)
“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24
“You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.” John 8:15-16
“You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.” John 8:15-16
And from the letters of Paul written TO THE SAINTS OF JESUS CHRIST, I include the most lucid example of New Testament “Body-Judgment” from 1 Corinthians so we may have a wider view of the all-out importance and Righteous imperative to “pass the Judgment” - especially amongst those who live in Christ together:
“It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father's wife. You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst. For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I wrote you in my letter NOT TO ASSOCIATE WITH IMMORAL PEOPLE; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. Ahh! NOW we’re getting to why I penned this article in the first place. Continue on into clarity with me. Let’s highlight some practical, yet very spiritual balance in passing the Judgment-Shaker, as we wrap this article up.

I mean… JESUS SAID “Do NOT Judge, or you’ll be Judged” and it sure sounds to me like you’re “judging those Pitts boys”? You do know that’s not the “love of God” being displayed, right?”----------------------------------------------------------
JUDGMENT 301: “Condemnation v. Rightful Judgment”

NOT ONE OF US has the right, authority, or nature of the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE on our side when we CONDEMN, ASSIGN ETERNAL RETRIBUTION TO, or REMAIN UNWILLING TO FORGIVE ANOTHER. Especially those who have PUBLICLY, OPENLY, TRUTHFULLY CONFESSED AND REPENTED OF THEIR SIN (with OBVIOUS, ONGOING, accompanying “fruits of repentance”). But even IF they NEVER DO SO, we can still forgive THE MAN, while JUDGING HIS “doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith” we no longer follow!
Forgiveness and Righteous Judgment are NOT contradictory… Jesus FORGAVE the woman “taken in the act” of sexual sin, BUT JUDGED HER SIN while He admonished her to GO AND SIN NO MORE! Maybe this bears repeating for you who are still struggling at the ‘Stone to “know them by their fruits”.
Let me repeat this CLEARLY and very slowly…
Neither I myself, nor this blog’s author, nor others that have posted Biblical articles or comments, (nor any I know of the hundreds who have thankfully separated themselves from Cornerstone Church, Inc.) stand with ANY (again… ANY) personal, retributive, “judgmental”, or condemnational heart TOWARD THE INDIVIDUALS who either “bishop” “head”, “pastor”, “work for”, “attend”, “serve” or simply “keep showing up to watch” their weekly theatrics. NO ONE is “sending Michael Stephen Pitts to hell” for his ongoing antics, known deception, and grossly apparent confusion… NO ONE even COULD DO SO! He often used to say, “No one goes to hell because God doesn’t love them; People go to hell because they don’t love God”. True words at least… but if so, let’s finish that incomplete saying by answering, WHO LOVES GOD, THEN?
Answer: “THIS IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT YOU KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.” (I John 5:3) And again, “But WHOEVER KEEPS HIS WORD, truly the LOVE OF GOD IS PERFECTED IN HIM. By this we know that we are in Him. (I John 2:5) And, “WHOEVER HAS the world's goods, AND SEES his brother in need and CLOSES HIS HEART AGAINST HIM, how does the love of God abide in him?” (I John 3:17)
So, NO! Judgment passed against another’s very soul -unto eternity without Christ- is simply NOT the judgment I have spoken of so clearly in this article. JUDGING A MATTER… JUDGING FALSE TEACHING… JUDGING REPEATEDLY TWISTED DOCTRINE… JUDGING A PERVERTED CORPORATE SUB-SYSTEM… JUDGING A “HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH”… JUDGING THE FRUIT THAT IS CONTINUALLY PRODUCED AMONG THOSE WHO CALL THEMSELVES “PAPA” (ETC.) … JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY WITHIN THE BODY IN ORDER TO PURGE UNHOLY LEAVEN…
ABSOLUTELY.. . Y E S ! And AMEN!

Mmmmm! Doesn’t your meal taste so much better when you properly, prayerfully, accurately assess the spiritual “diet” you’ve been consuming? Remember… not too much salt or pepper here! Just enough to season appropriately will do! (Even though after decades of improper alignment to THE Head, this IS A SEASON OF FOCUSED RE-ADJUSTMENT for MANY WHO ARE FINDING CHRIST’S FREEDOM “OUTSIDE THE CAMP”.) Your personal discernment is like your “spiritual taste buds” that have been given you for a reason! (USE THEM DAILY!) To “Taste and See” the Strong Meat of Practiced Truth and Overcoming Grace is demanded in this last hour! And THAT is what is really “GOOD”!
Jesus stated:
"Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. IF YOU LOSE YOUR SALTINESS, HOW WILL PEOPLE TASTE GODLINESS? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.” Matt. 5:13 (The Message)
My heartfelt cry is that every remaining breath which unholy, corrupted men still breathe would be for their turning unto repentance and the full alignment with the Truth.
My prayer for you and I is that we may never FEAR to “call a thing AS IT IS”, yet still be able to maintain His Righteousness in so doing… that we who are spiritual can restore others with Christ’s meekness, “considering ourselves also, lest we may be tempted”; and, that the Spirit and Power of our Lord Jesus that Paul spoke of would provide clear, pure, and accurate assessment of anyone who call themselves by our Master’s Holy Name, yet who CHOOSE NOT to display our very Master’s Holy Nature.
So… let’s all go ahead and “pass” on dealing out any condemnation, but PLEASE…
DON’T HESITATE TO “PASS THE JUDGMENT”!

ReplyDeleteI believe you have touched the real issue. We must discern what we hear and see. Not with a spirit of suspicion and apprehension, but with the direction of the Holy Spirit. We must pay close attention to what's going on around us. In some leadership structures the real deception is the Co-dependency that senior leadership has for the total dependency of the congregants. This is the real sign of a wrong spirit on behalf of the leader. We must in leadership empower people to walk in the strength and confidence of having a genuine relationship with their savior.
There truly is a great move of God that's already cresting, not one of the exaltation of the greatness of a man's anointing, but the greatness of our God. We need each other more now then ever before. Jesus came and broke the heard mentality and gave us distinction. We are not to imitate what we see, but discover what God has made us too be. Without your personal contribution something is lost for all of us. I heard Pitts preach on the concept of adolescence being the focus of self. I think his example was teenagers who only consider their world. That's true. The problem is has no-one consider how adolescent he must be? He only considers self. His call and mantle and how everyone who doesn't see it his way is out of order or rebellious.
This is not rocket science, the man has obvious moral and ethical issues and these are the least of the real problems. The main thing is his total distortion of scripture in the name of revelation, and excuse me for saying people still say what he's saying is the word. If we study the life and ministry of Jesus, what similarities are seen in this style of ministry.
The bible never gives us a template of corporate gathering's, water walking, or anything of the sort. Our time together is important, but why do we expect two fast songs and two slow ones? Then the preaching and altar service. I'm not against ministry in the gifts of the spirit and time set aside for praying for people, but let's ask ourselves , if Jesus never set up an order or recipe for preaching and ministry, why are we so bound to the show and style of a thing? The simple answer to a complex situation is this. We have too many milk feed believers, who are insecure in what God has deposited in them, and have too much confidence in what God has deposited in others.
The Power Jesus spoke that "WE" would receive was not a mystical experience or some special gifting in ministry. It was the person of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8. The power is not in a ritualistic form of prayer or tongues, and I do believe in our God given prayer language. The power is in the person of the Holy Spirit to lead all of us to the cross, and then to a Christ likeness so that there would be a constant example of the power of God to change lives.
Come on Saints find your spot, be comfortable enough in your skin to eat the meat at spit out the bones. Remember rat poison is 90 percent corn, and 10 percent strychnine. It's the strychnine that kills you. The bible says over and again, a little leaven affects the whole lump.

ReplyDeleteGreat article. Unfortunately the obedient & submissive Cornerstonians as well as Michael himself apparently feel that we are anti everything if we righteously judge his misdeeds, pride and arrogance as well as his unscriptural "revelations".
ReplyDeletePerhaps if he was real shepherd who cared for the souls of his sheep, he would have dealt with his own sin long ago & it wouldn't have opened the door for further sin to take over among his staff. Then, when people begin talking and speaking truth about things, he puts a bandaid on the sin of his staff members to make it look like he is dealing with it. He stands too much to lose to really deal with the sin of those who sit on the platform.

This article confused me only in needing clarification that it IS ok to "judge" those within the house/brothers - it is a righteous judgment?
ReplyDeleteI hold nothing against anyone. I do however realize that if I am in a 12 step program for alcohol and my sponsor goes on a bender, I need to get a new sponsor. Why can't people understand that when headship is standing in it, the crisis is automatically brought down upon them?

One verse I keep hearing inside these last few weeks, (especially after seeing such gross reaction by MP himself to this post) is: "the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God". Looking at that passage in a bit more detail from James 1:19-22 (NASB):
"This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves."
The mistaken concept that those who have separated from his waning dictatorship are supposed to just leave and shut our mouths is most ludicrous... I've actually seen the MP "Crew" throw these same verses out about being "slow to speak" about the so-called "bishop" (and his "non-profit" corporation). They incorrectly imply that all who are speaking out in correction to clearly unscriptural doctrine, lifestyle and practice are just being "rash with our mouth" and not "slow to speak."
I (like most I know) am going on several full YEARS of separation from this polluted, part-COGIC, part-Roman Catholic, part-Charismaniac "body". (I only first wrote and posted a year ago about some of my experiences in leaving "the Kool-Aid Man".) So to assume we are just "mouthing off" rashly in anger is immature at best, and a plain untruth at worst.
Since James advises us that man's fleshly anger is never going to produce True Righteousness in Christ, he then implores BELIEVERS to put "aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness". He explains how this is done... only by receiving with humility the IMPLANTED WORD that is able to save our souls. He closes this thought by clearly showing that those who Hear but do not "PROVE THEMSELVES DOERS" of the Word, actually DELUDE THEMSELVES!
Sadly, this SELF-DELUSION is so deeply rooted in the darkened minds and seared consciences of false leaders like MP, that they no longer even acknowledge or are able to truly discern their own self-deception... this is why they "lash out" in anger at all who dare oppose them. They (sadly) only feel safe and secure in their usurped, (non) "authority" and must defend it from all who confront it.
As Anonymous has correctly identified... The real heart of the matter is the LOVE OF MONEY is the ROOT of ALL EVIL, and THIS is what they fear the loss of the most... NOT the loss of more of "their sheep" (who they will then malign in anger-just like they've done to date)-- but the financial loss of their "tithes" that only allows their ongoing "filthiness" and "remains of wickedness" to continue unabated and unchallenged.

ReplyDeleteGreat question... my post mentioned nothing about judging our brothers and sisters who still may attend the 'Stone. Being raised in a dysfunctional family is never the fault of children too young to discern and process their own separation from "headship" who have strayed into ongoing, unconfessed, coverups of sin that is accepted, allowed, and well-known among MP's very own hired help. I did rather clearly define such as "babes" in need of "milk" because they remain unable TO DISCERN BY PRACTICE between good and evil... but again, this not condemnational of anyone, just ongoing reality.
Again, the "judgment" referred to is being able to define the fruit of a thing by the Righteous Judge's own standard of Grace AND Truth. This can and should ALWAYS be done in honest loving truth - but not the "sloppy agape"-type they preach, or the "grace covers my choice to continue in sin willfully" delusion.
See Paul's words stated in Romans 10 about his own Israelite brothers... "my heart's desire for them" is for their full salvation in acceptance of Christ's REAL Righteousness... not the incomplete half-truths of OT messages their Christ-denying teachers propagate.
I dearly miss so very many of my former friends and companions who unfortunately choose to remain under MP's spell. I quote again from John 3:19 "THIS IS THE JUDGMENT, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil."

It is not a blanket statement to overlook wrong behavior of others, BUT A CALL TO BE DISCERNING IN YOUR JUDGMENT-- For how can you free others from something you (yourself) are not free from?

No need to pass the judgement on MP. It's all good, no worries because he abides in good(not God). The good always overtakes the bad, it's goodness all day long in his mind. MP's facebook is just loaded with good, so it's all good to sin, all good to live how I want. Let's just abide in good(not God)good,good,gooooooooood! According to the first book of Good it's alright to be good, and good people can only do good. 2) Tree of Life
Notice that good and evil reside from the same tree. "good" is not necessarily from God.
You can say and do a bunch of stuff that appears to be good works, but not know God and in the end He not know you.
The Red Cross does good deeds probably more so than Cornerstone and their CEO makes much less.
You can also do these things from the motive of trying to cover up what is really going on and use it as a distraction from the real issue which is rampant sin in leadership that needs to be addressed.

ReplyDeleteJudging and Judgment are easy and yet complex scriptural teachings. We must consider from the Gospels, that judgment would have been in accordance with the Law. (Judaism)
Now move forward to the days of the earthly ministry of Jesus. The law had become so intense that it went from impossible to keep,because of weakness of flesh Romans 8, too utterly ridiculous. Now there existed scribal or oral law, traditional law etc.
Some examples would be not eating without washing your hands. The only acceptable way was on the sabbath to only use one and a half egg shells of water. It also contained the ritual of how to wash your hands, so not to break scribal law. So it was not about hygiene, it was about ritual and ceremony.
In John 8:15 He says, Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. Again John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Now everyone's favorite verse on Judging; Luke 6:37 Judge not lest ye be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive and you shall be forgiven.
Judge in all these verses come from the same Greek word krino (kree'-no) to distinguish or decide, (mentally or judicially) by impl. to try,condemn or punish, decree, determine esteem go to (sue at the law) ordain, call into question, sentence to, THINK.
Could Jesus have been speaking on Judging according to the flesh, as pertaining to the Law? (Judaism).
In Paul's epistle to the Corinthians he uses the same (kree'-no) In 1 Corinthians 10:15, when he said, I speak as unto wise men JUDGE ye what I say.
There is an absolute need in the body of Christ to use good Judgment. If you come to an intersection with a red light, you use your best judgment, and probably stop. If you don't use your best judgment, you may suffer greatly.
I turned on a live streaming service Thursday with MP preaching on the prodical son. He wanted everyone to know the importance of being in the right house under the right father, because there is food in that house, if your in the right house that is. This caused my spider sense's to tingle. I'm always watching for a good web. Sounds like same old self serving messages, the specialty dish. (House Special) Distort scripture,manipulate,and convince the people you have what they need. Please pass the judgment.
Philemon has a home church his slave runs away, and is saved, under Paul's teaching. So Paul pens with his own hand a letter to Philemon to receive Onesimus with true brotherly love. Paul could have said your in a better house, staying here with me. I'm an Apostle and Philemon simply has a little home church, It's better for you to be around my great anointing. I'm also a Bishop and father in the faith. Philemon is only a farmer with a few congregants. Paul said nothing of the sort, because he was a true Apostle and father in the faith.
The real moral of the prodical, is that the Father is a picture of God, the son that stay's home is a picture of Israel. The prodical is a picture of God's redemptive love for all us Gentiles. He used us, to provoke jealousy in the Israelite , the elect of God. Romans 10:20,21.
There are obvious benefits and disadvantages to being in a home with a father. Anyone raised in an abusive home knows this best. We need a church home and proper leadership to partner with. What we need most is the covering of Jesus Christ and all spiritual blessing in heavenly places. These are given by the Father to us through His Son. Eph. 1:3
No-one can give away what does not belong to them. The anointing is the Holy Spirit's, that's why the bible says: Luke 11:13 If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ASK HIM? You see proper judgment means, looking and hearing something for what it is; and not what you think or hope it is.

So it's all good...and life for christians is going to be bliss as we take over the wealth of wicked and bind up all of the bad here on earth and then hand it all over to Jesus when He returns. It all sounds so mystical & magical & powerful like the great OZ who was quickly found out for who he really was when the curtain was pulled back.

Is it just me or does MP's teaching & preaching all sound very ethereal and mystical as Berean had mentiond in his first post? MP hypes everyone up & then they run around when the "spirit" moves them like it's mystical. And the oil on the hands thing & rose scented oil on some blanket a dead man was wrapped in all sounds very new ageish to me. Again where is the chapter & verse on that? And what exactly does that have to do w/anything Jesus preached. When did oil flow from his hands & head? Maybe David & MP & Andrew should check what they're putting on their hair in the morning...
As Berean said, where is that found in the pattern of Jesus's ministry while here on earth? His message was very simple and often hard to hear. It didn't cause masses of people to get all excited and run around. He put the Word out there and often people walked away at the straight forward message of what He preached.
I don't recall messages of levels and anointings and giving specific dollar amounts to receive specific blessings. All the blessings we can receive have already been paid for in full by Jesus. It is our faith we must exercise in receiving all that God has for us. The rest is empty works & false teaching & twisting of God's Word to manipulate others for ungodly gain & it ain't all good.

Partner with your bro who buys and rents properties in the slums of Lima, OH to handle all the financials and entity set ups for the Church Business. No need to expound any further on the bunny trails here.
Teach the “false doctrines” of NT tithing and seed sowing to accumulate wealth every week that goes into an entity owned by guess who? Not the members. There is not ONE scripture in the NT that teaches tithing PERIOD for the NT believer. I welcome an open debate at any time with anyone. Bring your Bible.
Purchase RE and other Assets all over the city owned by guess who? Not the members.Live an over the top lavish celebrity lifestyle while your staff shops at thrift stores for their clothing and one of them actually files BK??? How did that tithing doctrine work for you there DB?
Turn people away in your own congregation who need basics like food and clothing because, quote, “you are not a bank”.
Have no numerical membership growth in the Toledo Church business for say the last 15 years? Remember church membership growth is a sign of God’s blessing and anointing on your life. You werejustsayin….
Leave another one of your Pastors (CP) because you just happen to not agree with him over his new doctrinal revelation. God forbid your followers ever do that to you, not agree with any of your teaching that HAS ZERO Biblical basis and actually follow the teaching and leading of the Holy Spirit.
Have ZERO successful church business plants with the leaders “groomed” under your Apostleship, well I guess you have DR in Lima. Then again, who couldn’t start a ‘God wants you rich” Church business in the poorest city in the country? Not hard to do. Third world ain’t hard to do either. When you have a minute do the demo’s in Toledo also.
Lose countless God fearing and morally pure leaders and members because of your pride and arrogance over the years and your unwillingness to be teachable and actually listen to wise counsel with BIBLE scriptures and backing. Then treat them like mere heathens and spread lies about them to discredit them and their beliefs.
Be an example to the flock and the youth by getting 2 DUI’s and the whole exposing yourself in public debacle and accusation years ago. Not the earmarks of a “Bishop”.
Hold big hype conferences and allow other false prophets to steal money from those you are supposed to guard and protect and have them puff you up so they can get a bigger honorarium check and a another title with no fruit supporting the actual title.
Allow these people to come impart into those you are to guard, remember you are the “covering”. Oral ROBerts, Earl Paulk, Roberts Liardon, Carlton Pearson, Mark “Sell out to TBN” Chironna, Rod Parsley, Clint Brown, Barry Cook, Paula White, TD Jakes, Eddie Long, Larry Lea. (just do a little Google for all these people and you will see the carnage). Remember, birds of feather? Like attracts Like. You show me your friends; I’ll show you your future. Yea, we see the future, not good, get it, not good, good.
